Chapel window

Chapel window | Carole Gray | Stained glass commission
This window was commissioned by a catholic school in North London, to go into their new chapel. There was a very short timescale as the window had to be installed ready for the visit of Cardinal Vincent Nichols, at which he opened and blessed the new chapel and school library.

I worked on this commission with Marilyn Andreetti, who did all the paintwork on the glass. The school asked for local landmarks to be incorporated into the window, as well as the London skyline, which I sandblasted onto purple/clear flashed glass.

Overall size 1200mm x 1200mm
