A busy week!

05th June 2016
I've spent the week at West Dean College, teaching two one-day Taster Days, followed by workshops at the Design & Craft Fair held in the grounds. The workshops ran for 1.5 hours each and the participants made a small copperfoiled hanging; a butterfly, boat or kite. Very few of them had ever cut glass before, let alone been let loose with a soldering iron, and they all did really well.

The Fair itself was lovely, with a vintage tea tent and a suitably old-fashioned trio playing outside. There were plenty of exhibitors selling their handmade crafts and artwork. If you missed it this year, make a note to go next time!

While I was there, the new Short Course brochure came out and all my courses this year are now open for booking; details are on the Other venues page.
